Art and Angling represents my passion for creating fine art combined with my passion for fly fishing. I enjoy the pursuit of both, and when these two worlds meet, it can be a very special time and place. I invite you to explore these crossroads with me. Welcome.

Impression Through Process:

Creating a feeling or sensation of time through the use of mechanical process.

Artists are endowed with the notion of creating aesthetically pleasing images or objects in order to connect with their audience. Simulating a mood or depicting an emotion that the viewer is familiar with can create this meaningful connection. This depiction or connection is not always solely for the viewer; in fact, it is not always between the viewer and the image but often the viewer and the creator. The Art of Angling:

As an Artist, I’ve always been a firm believer that “The Beauty is in The Process”. I feel this is equally true for fly fishing. As an avid angler, I have learned much about the art and science of angling. Fly fishing is not only my passion but also my profession. During the season here in the Colorado Rockies, I work as an Orvis endorsed guide and spend my time on the local rivers of the Gunnison Valley.  (more)
